What Did You Get at the Store? emergent reader

This week has been so nice.  On Monday our kids were dismissed at 11:00 AM because ice/snow showers were coming.  School was cancelled yesterday and today.  It's been so nice having a break, but I dread making the days up.

Last night, I created an emergent reader that would help my kids practice reading and writing the sight word "get".  On the last page of the reader, students draw a picture of what they would get at the store and then complete the sentence, "I would get...".
