During the craziness, I added to my Silly Stations pack.
I printed copies of this puzzle and then chopped each student's puzzle and held them together with a paper clip. The students had to glue the puzzle in order counting by 2's onto construction paper. We haven't practiced counting by 2's a whole lot so this was a fun and simple way.
I used "There's Money in My Pocket" during one of my Math Stations after reading There's a Wocket in My Pocket.
The kids practiced telling time to the hour with "It's Time to Leave, Cat!". They did really well telling time.
I used the following Station to review blends.
We haven't practiced this before, but the kids chose cards and then recorded the missing letter. They had to pay close attention to whether a capital or lowercase letter was missing.
This is an example of a math station in which the kids had to keep counting.
We also practiced finding and recording missing addends.
Most of you have probably already completed your week on Read Across America, but I am going to give a copy away that you can put away for next year. :)
