I LOVE different variations of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, etc. These stories are some of my all time favorites. So, I have been working on a Three Little Pigs Unit.
This unit comes with a pig craft and 14 different printables.
Students can assemble the pigs and then write about any topic you wish. Two different styles of writing paper with illustration boxes are included. An idea for writing could be to have students write about how he/she felt when the wolf came to his/her house.
Here is a sample of what the printables look like:
Skills practiced include:
*Beginning Sounds
*Middle Sounds
*Ending Sounds
*Digraphs
*Blends
*CVC Words
*Rhyming
*Greater Than
*Addition
*Subtraction
*Count by 1's
*Count by 5's
*Count by 10's
*Number Words
This unit is a fun way to review The Three Little Pigs and is perfect for leaving with a sub, to use in literacy/math stations or to send home for homework.
I had a request to make some word searches. This little packet has 6 different searches included.
I added a lot of new readers:
These readers are great to use during Guided Reading or independent practice. These readers have students reading and writing important sight words.
We all know how important it is for young learners to master color words. I love these printables because students have the opportunity to color the word, trace the color word and then use the word in 4 different sentences.
Lastly, I added two Print and Go Packs.
The first one practices fractions:
The second pack practices plurals. Students rewrite the words to make them plural by adding -s, -es, or -ies.
Thanks for stopping by!
