Take a Closer Look~ January Edition

I am going to share a closer look at my Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Math and Literacy Pack.

 

I blogged about these stations last year.  You can read about them here.

 

I have added more to this pack and will show you a few of the new additions.

 

This is a number order activity, in which students pick up a card, and then record the four numbers in the correct order. 

In this station, students look at different pictures and record the middle sound.

This station reviews 3D shapes by looking at pictures of shapes in the environment, and then having students color the correct 3D shape that is a match.

 

Students count the boys and girls on each card, record how many and then color the child that is on the card the most.

 

For this station, you can use unifix cubes, pennies or whatever you would like for students to practice measuring.
